Capitol Web Services was founded in 1998 by Phillip Curtis McKee III as a part-time web-based business. Then, in 2001, Phillip McKee, working as a Firefighter/EMT for the Arlington County Fire Department, was among the the first wave of fire crews responding to the terrorist attack on the Pentagon on 9-11. Over the course of battling the blaze and searching for victims during the first three days he suffered crippling injuries and was subsequently retired from the fire department as disabled. What until then been only part-time became a full-time enterprise. Phillip is proud to have served his community and his country on 9-11 and also proud of how he has grown and improved his business since then.
